‍Today, the stock exchange bell was rung for Måsøval AS, to mark the company's listing on Euronext Growth, Oslo Børs. "This is a great day for the company. The next chapter of our pioneering history begins today," says Lars Måsøval, owner and Chair of the Board in Måsøval AS.

Unfortunately, it was not possible for management, employees, and owners to be physically present at the stock exchange today, due to pandemic restrictions. The CEO  of Oslo Børs, Øyvind Amundsen, had to ring the stock exchange bell on his own.

"Listing on Euronext Growth allows the company to realise a number of growth plans for the future. There was a great deal of interest from investors who wanted to take part in this growth, and the offering was fully subscribed," says Lars Måsøval.

Måsøval has in recent weeks completed a successful offering of NOK 825 million. The three cornerstone investors Odin Forvaltning, Handelsbanken and Songa Asset Management together subscribed to a total of NOK 450 million.

"We would like to thank both existing and new co-owners for their confidence. This will be an exciting journey, where we will continue the wonderful growth to which our employees have contributed in recent years. A good foundation has been laid for future value creation, in an even broader perspective," says CEO Asle Rønning.

Invest in Nature - Investor relations
In connection with the listing, Måsøval has developed a brand new Investor Relations section on its website, where one can access the company's stock exchange announcements, reporting, share price, and information on corporate governance. 

"We will be communicating transparently and frequently, and have invested in a good platform for our investors and other stakeholders. Måsøval has already delivered a very thorough and comprehensive annual report for 2020, and we are looking forward to having contact with our new owners," says Gunnar Aftret, CFO in Måsøval AS.

In 1972, Måsøval became one of the first companies to start fish farming in Norway. The company is owned by brothers Lars and Anders Måsøval. Måsøval currently has 120 employees divided among its facilities at Frøya, Kristiansund, Aukra and Hustadvika. In 2019, the company was awarded four development licences for the innovative Aqua Semi project, which represents a potential production volume of 6,000 tonnes of HOG in total. The goal is to start construction on Aqua Semi in 2021.
