At Måsøval, we are deeply committed to responsibility, transparency, and sustainability. We strive to ensure that every aspect of our operations complies with current laws and our ethical guidelines. If you become aware of any misconduct or unethical behaviour, we encourage you to report it so we can address the situation appropriately.

Reporting concerns of misconduct

Misconduct may include, but is not limited to:

  • Violations of laws, regulations, or internal Måsøval policies
  • Breaches of safety procedures, or situations that endanger life and health
  • Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or racism
  • Financial wrongdoing, including fraud, corruption, or theft
  • Social dumping or other forms of labour law violations

It’s important to note that not all issues are considered reportable misconduct. For example, disagreements over personal views, political beliefs, internal disputes about work tasks, or dissatisfaction with salary should be addressed directly with your manager, representative, or through internal channels.

At Måsøval, we value responsibility, generosity, steadfastness, and boldness. These values guide how we handle all reports. No one who reports a concern in good faith will face retaliation, and all reports will be treated confidentially, with respect for both the person raising the issue and those involved.

Måsøval has partnered with EY to provide a secure and confidential whistleblowing channel for reporting any concerns. You have the option to report anonymously, but we encourage you to provide your contact details so we can follow up on the matter more effectively.

What Your Report Should Include

To help ensure we can respond to your report promptly and thoroughly, it is helpful to include the following information:

  • A description of the misconduct or issue
  • The time, date, and location of the incident(s)
  • The names of individuals involved and any witnesses
  • Any other relevant details

We take all reports seriously and will investigate each one as quickly as possible. By reporting concerns, you help strengthen our operations and ensure that Måsøval remains a responsible, generous, and steadfast force in the aquaculture industry.

Anonymity and Follow-Up

If you choose to report anonymously, there may be limitations on how thoroughly we can investigate the matter, as we may not be able to ask follow-up questions or provide feedback to you. However, we will do our best to address all reports. Where possible, we recommend providing contact information.
