"This past year, our focus has been on enhancing operations, improving our biological processes, and strategically restructuring the organisation. Combined with a steadfast and ever-increasing commitment to sustainability and quality, we’re persistently positioning ourselves for continued growth and success."

Despite these improvements, there is an ongoing commitment to do even more:

"Despite the progress made in 2023, we are still not satisfied, and our efforts will continue with full force into 2024 and beyond."

Deepening Commitment to Sustainability

As part of our commitment to corporate transparency and responsible behaviour, Måsøval has embraced new regulatory standards. Helge explains the company’s proactive approach:

"We have initiated the implementation of CSRD and conducted thorough double materiality analyses. Our aim is to establish a robust framework that will underpin our sustainability reporting efforts in the future."

Market Expansion

The company’s global footprint also expanded significantly, demonstrating Måsøval's capacity to scale and cater to international markets:

"Our global presence expanded in 2023, delivering 24 531 tonnes of high-quality salmon to 160 customers across 30 nations."

Looking Ahead with Optimism

Looking to the future, Helge is optimistic about the company’s direction and its ongoing initiatives:

"Our commitment to improving fish health and welfare remains paramount. We are poised to explore new sites and technologies, intensify our strategic development initiatives, and further optimise our operations to ensure sustainable growth."
