Måsøval has announced the appointment of Anders Hagestande as their new CFO. Hagestande brings with him an impressive wealth of experience in finance and management to his new role.

Before stepping into his new position at Måsøval, Hagestande has had a successful career as CFO at Blue Resource Group AS and Bjørøya AS. He has also served as a board member for companies such as Filetfabrikken AS and Villa Seafood AS. Additionally, Hagestande has served as a Financial Controller at Nova Sea AS and as a Business Developer at AquaGen AS. This impressive background has equipped him with a deep understanding of the seafood industry and strong expertise in finance.

Hagestande holds a degree in Business Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), with a major in finance and a minor in economic analysis. He joins Måsøval as a resourceful leader, ready to contribute to the company's ongoing success and growth.

The appointment comes after the current CFO, Gunnar Aftret, announced his resignation in May 2023. Aftret will continue to be available to the company as a financial advisor until no later than November 30, 2023, to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
